Pacific Legal Network welcomes new member in American Samoa
The past twelve months has seen a rapid growth in firms joining as members of Pacific Legal Network (PLN) and we are delighted to start 2023 with the announcement that Mooney Wieland Warren (MWW) in American Samoa has formally joined the network.
As American Samoa’s leading commercial law practice, MWW and its predecessor firm, Rose Joneson Vargas (RJV), have over 25 years of experience helping local, U.S., and international clients get business done in the territory’s unique legal, economic, and regulatory environment.
MWW’s services are often critical to “off-island” entities looking to establish or expand operations into the Pacific region, and their commercial litigators have expertise in handling commercial disputes, collections, admiralty/maritime claims, insurance and tort defense, and other matters in the territorial High Court and local administrative tribunals. MWW’s unique profile includes its American Samoa office along with its U.S. stateside office in Boise, Idaho. Its attorneys are experienced in handling matters not only in American Samoa and the U.S., but also the Federated States of Micronesia.
PLN Founder and Head of Legal Services John Ridgway said:
“We are so happy to have Mooney Wieland Warren join Pacific Legal Network not least because the predecessor to this firm, and its founder Barry Rose, had been involved with our network from the start. Barry Rose has been an amazing contributor to our success over all these years and Aaron, Daniel, Robert and the team at Mooney Wieland Warren have demonstrated that same enthusiasm and expertise in recent years – it is and has been an absolute pleasure working with them and it is very exciting to have them all on board with the network.”
Aaron Warren, on behalf of Mooney Wieland Warren said: “We are so pleased to formally join the Pacific Legal Network and look forward to continuing our predecessor firm’s longstanding relationship with the PLN to be a reliable resource for quality legal services to the Pacific community. We thank John and the entire PLN network for their warm support for our membership and look forward to supporting its growth for years to come”.
Mooney Wieland Warren join NSMP, MHP (Indonesia), Wong Alliance (Singapore and Timor Leste) and Palau along with the opening of a representative office in London as recent additions to Pacific Legal Network, as part of an ongoing growth strategy to ensure clients have access to high quality legal and professional services across all parts of the wider Pacific region.
