Climate Positive Solutions
Pacific Legal Network has a long history of working on projects aimed at alleviating risks posed by climate change and other environmental issues. Due to our geographic focus on Pacific Small Island Developing States, our team sees its contributions to the mitigation of climate change as foundational to what we do.
Our experience on projects that put the climate first speaks for itself, and includes:

advising governments and financial institutions on grants, ratification processes, investment mechanisms and regulation;

working with private sector interests on renewable energy infrastructure programs, security documentation and corporate issues; and

engaging with novel areas of the law, such as, block chain regulation to enable direct donor-to-recipient funding in the aftermath of climate induced natural disasters.
We have close working relationships with some of the largest development banks, businesses and governments in this space.
We are accredited by the Green Climate Fund as an observer organisation.
